  Lake Biwa Canal is an artificial canal built to revive Kyoto's industry, which had declined due to the relocation of the capital to Tokyo. This project, which was completed after overcoming numerous difficulties, was a major project in Kyoto during the Meiji period, carried out solely by Japanese people. The Lake Biwa Canal has been revived after 70 years.
  Please enjoy a boat trip where you can see for yourself the achievements of our predecessors while enjoying the scenery around the canal that creates a seasonal atmosphere.

  ・Among the plaques written by politicians who represent the Meiji period that are displayed at the entrance of each tunnel, the only one inside the tunnel is Kunimichi Kitagaki, the third governor of Kyoto who planned and constructed the canal project. It's a flat forehead.
  ・Passengers on board can see the pit, which was the first in Japan to use the pit method, from below.

  Kawamura Noh Stage Noh Interesting Lecture

  

  A special place called Kyoto, a Noh stage built on the site of the Hana-no-Imperial Palace
  Would you like to experience a secret that has been around for 650 years?

   

  Was Zeami the original idol boy?Starting with an interesting story about Noh, you will practice singing, experience how to walk and move in Noh, and see and wear gorgeous Noh costumes up close.He is a mysterious Noh mask and a Noh accompaniment that is as good as an orchestra.

  There is something like the backbone of the Japanese people, such as straightening your collar and standing tall, which we often forget. Why not explore the business model of a culture that has continued for about 650 years since the Muromachi period? Also, rediscover the good things about Japan by experiencing the awareness and learning.

  Representatives (around 10 people) will actually step onto the Noh stage and learn how to stand and walk in Noh. There are also experiences of playing musical instruments and wearing gorgeous Noh costumes. Try on a Noh mask and experience how a Noh performer sees the perspective from which he dances. If the Kawamura Noh Stage is not available, it can be held on another stage or at your accommodation.
