"HANDS FREE KYOTO," operated by the Kyoto City Tourism Association, is a website that compiles information on hands-free sightseeing to help tourists get around Kyoto comfortably. It clearly introduces information on delivery services for sending large luggage to accommodations, as well as counters and coin lockers where you can temporarily store your luggage, along with a map of the Kyoto Station area.
While riding lightly along the cycle road that stretches along the Kizu River, you can experience the history and scenery that the river has woven together. You will see the countryside and tea fields that spread along the riverside, Izumi Ohashi Bridge that flourished as a crossing point, an ancient temple built in the Nara period, and the connection between the river and faith, and you will have the time to "listen and learn" about the story of the river and the town with your guide. During breaks, you will hear an explanation of the structure and history of Nagarebashi Bridge, a wooden bridge that sways in the wind, designed to be washed away in floods, conveying to the present day the image of this region that has lived side by side with water.
[This tour has been postponed] From Demachiyanagi, take a stroll through the original landscape of Kyoto, a city that has developed alongside water, with a view of the confluence of the Kamo River and Takano River. At Shimogamo Shrine, take the time to "feel and learn" about the history of ancient water worship and rituals, along with the pure flow of Tadasu no Mori. Walk south along the Kamo River, and you'll find traces of flood control that continued through the Edo, Meiji, and Showa periods, as well as the history of the city shaped by the river, still alive today. After taking in the changing landscape of riverside dining culture and people's lives between Sanjo and Shijo, head to Fujita in Pontocho.
Board the Lake Biwa Canal boat from Miidera Temple and enjoy the scenery of autumn leaves seen from the calm waters and the sound of the water. After disembarking at Keage, walk along the Keage Incline, a symbol of Meiji-era modernization, and experience the "seeing and touching" of the waterway that still exists today, transcending time. The final destination is Ryotei Yachiyo, facing the approach to Nanzenji Temple. In a space where you can enjoy traditional Kyoto cuisine and the gardens of gardener Ueji to your heart's content, you will enjoy tea with seasonal Japanese sweets, and learn about the history and role of the Lake Biwa Canal through a lecture.
This time, we will introduce NOHGA HOTEL KIYMIZU KYOTO, located in the heart of Higashiyama and Kiyomizu. Combining the spirit of travel with a modern sensibility, this hotel is deepening its presence as a hub of local culture.
This is an electronic travel pass that allows you to "hot spring tour" at 10 hot spring facilities in Kyoto City (as of October 1, 2025). Founded in 1909, Urushi Tsutsumi Asakichi preserves traditional craftsmanship while exploring new ways to bring lacquer into everyday life. In Kyoto, lacquer is not limited to temple architecture and tableware — it also appears in daily life, from bath buckets at sento (public bathhouses) to dining tables in local bakeries. Discover its beauty at Bukkoji Temple, experience lacquer buckets at Umeyu, and enjoy bread and wine by the Kamo River. Through these encounters where city culture and lacquer come together, you will discover a new side of Kyoto’s urushi tradition.
Kyoto is home to many businesses that practice "long-term management" that has passed down culture for over a thousand years. Rather than simply preserving tradition, these businesses have an attitude of being "social enterprises/local zebra enterprises" that weave value into the future while harmonizing with the environment and local community. Experience programs run by these businesses are not only activities for tourists, but also an opportunity for "site visits" where visitors can directly experience business models that create social impact.
Follow the waterway of our ancestors' dreams on a canal boat. Traces of their many great achievements can only be seen by boarding the boat. The Lake Biwa Canal is an artificial canal built to revive Kyoto's industry, which had declined after the capital was moved to Tokyo. The project, which overcame many difficulties, was a major project in Kyoto during the Meiji period, carried out solely by Japanese people. After 70 years, the Lake Biwa Canal has been revived. Enjoy the scenery around the canal, which changes with the seasons, and see the great achievements of our ancestors with your own eyes on this boat trip.

<Tsuji Clinic Kyoto Branch ~CONCEPT~>
Tsuji Clinic Tokyo has been researching anti-aging and rejuvenation for over 20 years. This is the clinic's Kyoto branch.
In 2019, the World Health Organization (WHO) defined aging as a disease that can be treated. We often hear the term "anti-aging," but our approach to anti-aging is not just about making people look younger. Instead, we focus on the approximately 40 trillion cells that are the smallest units of the human body, and believe that anti-aging is about "slowing down the aging of cells," which means "slowing down the aging of the human body." In addition to looking young, we treat problems that are particularly noticeable with aging, such as fatigue, pain, immunity, sleep, skin, and hair.
We offer treatments that will help you extend your "healthy lifespan," achieve a healthy body free of disease, and enjoy your one and only life to the fullest.

The famous Yudofu was created as a dish served at a teahouse in front of the Nanzenji Temple.
It has become a "specialty of Junsei" and is enjoyed by many people. Of course it's nice to eat a table full of gorgeous dishes, but it's also fun to have the light and simple yudofu as the main dish.
Please feel free to sit at a table and enjoy a slightly luxurious meal.
