Kyoto is a "city of traditional culture" with a deep history and culture as a thousand-year-old capital.
It is a well-known "international tourist city" blessed with many world cultural heritage sites,
It is a "university town" where more than 30 universities are concentrated,
Combining these strengths, Kyoto is widely known as the “Sacred Land of Learning” as “Kyoto, the Capital of Learning”.
The thousand-year capital is a "resilience" city that has survived through many hardships through the efforts and wisdom of its predecessors. However, I believe that it leads to the realization of a curriculum that is open to society, which is required in school education. 　

The new Course of Study calls for more proactive, interactive, and in-depth learning, with "inquiry-based learning" as the key word.
For students visiting Kyoto on school excursions, it is necessary to organize and systematize the efforts of Kyoto's past and present inquiry challenges, and develop and disseminate inquiry learning content that can be learned more practically.
