[World Heritage Collaboration Project] Toji Temple Special Nighttime Visit

To mark the 30th anniversary, a special viewing event will be held in collaboration with the World Heritage Site "Toji Hyakuri Documents," a World Heritage Site.

World Heritage Site "Toji Temple" Special Nighttime Illumination Tour ~The world of Toji Temple that remains from Heian-kyo~ 

Spend a night at Toji Temple, enveloped in gentle light. Enjoy a luxurious moment where you forget about time in this extraordinary space.

Visitors will be given a special stamp commemorating the 33rd anniversary of the "Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto" being registered as a World Heritage Site.

▶Bamboo Plan:
A special guided tour of Toji Temple's guest house "Shogobo" and the national treasure "Rengemon" with a monk as your guide

Guided by a monk, you will have a special tour of Toji Temple's guest house, "Shokobo," which is normally closed to the public, and the illuminated National Treasure "Rengemon."
This plan also includes a special tour of the Kondo and Kodo Halls.

▶Matsu Plan:
A plan that includes a matcha tea experience in the normally closed "Kyakuden" guesthouse and a commentary on the Toji Yuri Documents

While enjoying a cup of matcha tea in the guest hall, which is usually closed to the public, you will hear fascinating stories about the Toji Yuri Documents.
This plan includes a special night-time viewing of the illuminated temple and a special guided tour of Toji Temple's guest house, "Shogobo," and the national treasure, "Rengemon," led by a monk.
