The inside of the train becomes an extraordinary space! As you ride the Keihan train, you can compare 16 different brands of Kyoto sake, and you're sure to have a great time chatting with the sake brewers about sake! Enjoy the special experience of riding on the "siding line" that is normally off-limits, and the delicate and gentle sake that is nurtured by the famous spring water that springs up in abundance in Fushimi, Kyoto City.
A brewer from each brewery will ride the bus wearing a happi coat and go around pouring sake.
*Siding = a siding installed to change direction or switch trains. The Sake Train runs on the siding at Kuzuha Station, where passengers normally do not run, before turning around and heading towards Kyoto, heading to Nakashojima.
