Tasting eight different types of sake, find your favorite.
This is an experience facility where you can make your own one-of-a-kind sake by blending your favorite alcoholic drinks. What's more, the sake you make can be bottled in the sake brewing room in the building next door, and you can take it home on the same day, making this a one-of-a-kind sake experience facility.

What is sake blending?
In the world of sake, "blending" has been practiced for a long time. For example, the expression "goshu" (mixed sake) was already recorded in the Edo period "Accounting book for the third year of the Kyoho era (1718)" still in existence at "Gekkeikan," and blending to improve flavor has been practiced since the Showa era. Even today, there is a process in sake breweries called "mixing," in which sake from different tanks is combined to adjust the flavor, and specialized blenders are active in this process.

You can blend a variety of sakes such as daiginjo, junmai, and aged sake to your liking and create your own "original blend sake (my sake)."

You can also use the recipes you make to give as gifts for family and friends, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. The alcohol you make can be taken home on the same day, making it a perfect souvenir.

Located an 8-minute walk from Kyoto Kawaramachi Station, it can accommodate up to 30 people, from small groups to large groups.
The experience is available in three languages: Japanese, English, and Chinese. The experience lasts for 45 minutes, and you can join without making a reservation if there is space available during your shopping or sightseeing break.

[My Sake World Oike Bettei]

Located in the heart of Kyoto, just a few minutes walk from Karasumaoike Station and Kyoto City Hall Station. This renovated old house is a completely private space limited to just four people. Here, you can learn about the history and culture of sake while actually tasting 12 types of sake, allowing you to get a deeper experience of the unique characteristics of sake.
